UT Conjunto Recital
Presented by University of Texas Conjunto
Description
The UT Conjunto, directed by Joel Guzman and Jean Jacques Barrera, will be performing Texas Mexican Music. UT Conjunto Recital will feature students who have learned to sing traditional Spanish songs, play the 3-Row diatonic accordion and the Bajo Sexto. These bright young students are helping preserve the originality of conjunto, an American musical form that has transcended its Texas Origins.
We hope the public will join us and enjoy the hard work these students have put into making this program possible! For more information about the ensemble, visit the Conjunto page.
