Presented by Texas Early Music Project
Giovanni Boccaccio’s collection of stories from the mid-14th century tells a story of young Florentines who have fled from the Black Plague. In this timely video, Texas Early Music Project will re-enact several of the stories that were told to entertain these refugees, with music from the 14th century, costumes, and a script by Guggenheim Fellowship winner, Dr. Larry Rosenwald.
The video will be available for viewing Saturday, May 8, 20201 through Thursday, May 13, 2021
Tickets from $5 are available here: https://temp.ticketbud.com/tales-from-the-decameron-video-premiere
